Came home from church the other night and Kevin had been home with the kiddos. When I walked in the kitchen I heard a sound from the living room that took me back in time instantly...it was the song "Cruel Summer". I ran to the living room to see what was on the TV, yep, you guessed it "The Karate Kid". I was so excited; I loved that movie and hadn't seen it in ages.
Now, my kids think the karate kid is Will Smith's son. Um, no, I tell them. :) Tyler jumped up and said "Mom, we are watching a movie I found on the guide and it is so great." I say, "I watched this movie over and over when I was a little girl." He replies, "You watched the 'Carrot Kid' before?"
I cracked up! He has recently figured out how to use the guide on the tv to find what he wants to watch and I guess he is hooked on phonics...karate : carrot!
I love my kids!!
